Living in Space Is It Fact Or Fiction?: Will Space Living and Travel be a Common Occurrence?

Will Space Living and Travel be a Common Occurrence?

Will Space Living and Travel be a Common Occurrence?

Human Beings have walked in space, traveled in space, and currently live in space on space stations. This is far from science fiction; this is real and it's happening now.

Traveling and living in space will be as common as airline travel is today. One hundred years ago no one, except for the Wright Brothers, actually thought that traveling to and from any country in the world would be an every day occurrence.

We often have a tendency to dismiss unusual developments as something that only exists in someone else's mind, and not as something that can actually happen.

The average person has no need to travel in space, so it's not something we think about often or realize that it's importance in the future. I believe that once the cost for travelling and living in space is dramatically reduced, we will see more people taking an interest.

Radiation Protection in Space

Radiation will go through two feet of lead, so how do we protect astronauts on the other side of the Van Allan Belt? Mother Earth is doing that right now by being a magnet. This same magnetic protection can be duplicated in the infrastructure to house astronauts.
It has to be fact. Living in zero gravity would cause our bones and muscle to degenerate very quickly. However, would it be feasible if we were able to create our own gravity. If we could spin, the centrifugal force would replace gravity.

That doesn't seem to difficult especially with today's technology. So why isn't it happening?
